Lead Project Manager - Finance/Accountancy Workstream

LEAD PROJECT MANAGER - FINANCE/ACCOUNTANCY WORKSTREAM

Based in Halifax an Lead Project Manager is required on a contract basis to lead a finance/accountancy workstream as part of a large operational banking change programme for a major FS client.

The successful candidate will have:

- Experience gained within the Accounting/banking industry.
- Finance background/understanding of account structures and hierarchies including knowledge of GENERAL LEDGER SYSTEMS (GL) such as SAP and Oracle.
- Experience in implementing technical and operational change into a controlled environment.
- Background in programme governance and oversight.
- Experience in managing projects delivered via a variety of development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
- Line management experience of at least 4+ Analysts/Developers, across a number of phases/projects/work package.
- Sound knowledge/experience of all Microsoft Office Applications (inc. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project).
