Lead Project Manager - Credit Risk - Loans - 6 Months - Birmingham

LEAD PROJECT MANAGER - CREDIT RISK - LOANS - 6 MONTHS - BIRMINGHAM

A top retail bank based in Birmingham currently requires a Lead Project Manager to join a programme on credit risk for an initial 6 month period.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Project Set Up and Closure: Initiate and mobilise project. Complete project close down and Post Implementation Review (PIR) and close off the Lessons Learnt.
- Governance and Reporting: Complete project governance deliverables. Providing regular, clear and comprehensive status reports to appropriate stakeholders.
- Project Control and Delivery: Actively manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID), and ensure that risks are mitigated in a timely manner. Identify benefits and KPIs and ensure outcomes and outputs that support their realisation are delivered. Oversee the change control register content and the change request process.
- Planning: Build and own MSP project plan. Manage activity against plan, ensuring that deviations are mitigated and impacts addressed.
- Resource Management: Manage project resources to enable effective delivery of outputs and outcomes. Ensuring project appropriately resourced - and that resources are appropriately engaged throughout the life cycle.
- Stakeholder Management: Formulate and implement the stakeholder engagement strategy and communications plans. Ensure stakeholders are engaged in a manner that enables informed decision making and timely sign off.

KEY SKILLS

- Project Management experience within financial services
- Previous experience on a credit risk decision projects
- Use of Falcon/Fyco or similar system would be highly advantageous
