Lead Project Manager, Business Change

ROLE: LEAD PROJECT MANAGER, BUSINESS CHANGE

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

Duration: 6 - 9 months

Rate: DOE

ROLE PURPOSE:

HSS Fund Services provides fund administration and accounting services to third party investment managers, pension funds and other HSBC group businesses worldwide.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The role will sit within the Client & Business Change area. This will involve taking control and oversight of all aspects of delivery to ensure the project is delivered in scope, on time and in budget to the expected levels of quality.

This requires a strong and competent individual who can delivery results and is comfortable coming in and leading a high profile programme which is already in full delivery, with a direct team of 15-20 resources not including additional business supply lines.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

Experienced in Investment Management field, with proven experience and understanding of a complex Operations environment including current mandatory regulations

Proven ability to lead and manage a large team across multiple workstreams and geographical locations

Organisational skills and ability to work as an integral part of a larger project team demands

A solid understanding of business change techniques including the application of industry-standard methodologies, techniques, complex modelling, and scenario planning.

Deep knowledge of various project management approaches, tools and phases of the project life cycle.
