Lead Project Manager - 6 Month Contract - Edinburgh - £356

My client is offering an attractive opportunity for Lead Project Managers in or around the Edinburgh area. Based on a 6 month contract paying £356p/d, the successful candidate will work on a systems transition change programme that intends to move insurance processes to a new system to better suit the current functions of the organisation.

Basic outline of duties:

- Managing of all activity required for the transition
- Utilising the complete Project Manager skill set to successfully deliver on what is required during the transition
- Risk and Issue management
- Financial Tracking
- Ensure delivery to agreed business plans within cost, quality and timescale objectives

Essential Skills:

- Previous experience of Managing and controlling the delivery of medium to large projects or workstreams within very large projects or programmes
- Ability to take responsibilities for delivering solutions which address business needs
- Resource management to make sure that project is carried out to appropriate cost
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- General Insurance knowledge/experience (highly desirable)
