Lead Project Engineer

Are you looking for a new challenge? If so I have a client who are looking to expand their team and are looking for a lead project engineer on a contract basis. As lead project engineer you will be responsible for liaising with internal technology, supply chain, installation and operations departments and external sub-contractors as required. What does the job entail? - Management of the Design and Engineering for all parts of the PRM system (Subsea, Riser, Top side) - Generate all engineering project deliverables to customer requirements - Manage all project engineering interfaces between work packages - design, engineering, manufacture, supply and instillation - Assist the project manager with client and sub contractor engineering interfaces - Providing input and support in HAZIDs, HAZOPs - Arrange and execute offshore visits to platforms and vessels as required to plan, coordinating and executing the project works - Review and endorse work carried out by design, fabrication and installation contractors as required What experience is needed? - Proven track record in successful subsea engineering project delivery - this is to include design and instillation - Ability to generate engineering product design requirements and product manufacturing specifications - Able to manage sub contractors - Manage multiple engineering projects - Interface with customers - Deliver solutions - Experience in the design, procurement manufacture and installation of risers and/or subsea pressure hosing and/or subsea connectors What qualifications / skills do I need to apply? - Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent - 7 + years experience within Oil and Gas - Experience in similar role within the industry - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent time management - Offshore certificates Location?
