Lead Product Control Manager - London - Contract

DIVISIONAL CONTROLLING SENIOR LEAD - LONDON - CONTRACT - BANKING

My Client, an Investment Bank in London have a new requirement for an experienced Product controller to lead a team of 5 product controllers & to support in management, organisation and development of the processes in London with the aim of ensuring cost-effective execution of tasks, while taking into account regulatory and internal requirements. Ensuring all Finance controls are adhered to, whilst building and maintaining relationships with CPM FO and maintaining a high level of service.

- Management of a team of 5 Product Controllers responsible for performing the daily and monthly P&L process including monitoring of controls.
- A detailed understanding of the Banking and Structured Credit Trading and strategies and structures.
- Including ownership of standard control checks to ensure the structures are being reported accurately and consistently across portfolio and in relation to associated consolidated SPVs.
- University graduate and fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA), or qualified via extensive technical experience and expertise
- Extensive Product Control or Financial Control experience within an Investment Banking environment
- Ability to appreciate the complexities involved in controlling & reporting multi-instrument and multi-system booked transactions
