Lead Pricing Analyst - South West

The role holder will be will be responsible for supporting the maintenance of my client's Pricing Tools for the Mortgages and Savings business helping support the business in making robust value based pricing decisions.

You will be working within the Mortgage & Savings Analytics team so will have the opportunity to become an expert within this field.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- Work with commercial team, credit risk, mortgage finance team to ensure all valuations are robust and accurate
- Work on commercial issues and challenges (ad hoc: this can be quite varied and interesting stuff, its really down to the individuals willingness/ desire )
- Ensure mortgages pricing model governance is robust (internal audit/ Model annual validation

To qualify for the role you must have a strong Analytical and numerate background, including a Strong analytical skill set with ability to shape and solve complex problems. As you will be client facing you must have Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex scenarios in simple terms.

It is also important to have the relevant technical skill set:

- Excel
- ACCESS
-SAS / SPSS/ SQL would be helpful
- Data Analysis/ Data Mining/ Data Management
- Accountancy/ Finance background would be preferred but not essential
