Xoserve provides a range of centralised services to the gas industry in Britain. It manages all the key data associated with the majority of the 22 million gas meter points nationwide through large and complex computer systems as well as the registration and customer switching services for the industry. Xoserve also manages the energy allocation and invoicing on behalf of the country's large Gas Transporters, and through its knowledgeable employees helps the industry manage change to the processes and systems which enable the country's commercial regime for gas to operate.

Reporting to the Manager Portfolio Management Office (PMO), the Lead Portfolio Planning Specialist's primary responsibilities will be to work within the Portfolio Management Office to ensure that the organisation's portfolio/large scale projects and programme are planned and resourced effectively and pragmatically to enable Portfolio Management and Governance.

To be successful in this role you will have ideally developed a demonstrable track record working in various project management officers where you have delivered outstanding results and meet critical timeframes on a range of large scale projects. Your extensive knowledge and experience in planning and resourcing has seen you be instrumental in the delivery of work within complex environments and contribute to major transformational programmes of work. You have achieved the above because of your can-do attitude, consultative nature and excellent communication and presentation abilities.
