LEAD PORTFOLIO DELIVERY ARCHITECT (CHIEF SOLUTION ARCHITECT) - DIGITAL RETAIL BANKING

The Lead Portfolio Delivery Architect (Chief Solution Architect) is an EAD role that has accountability for the delivery of architecture and design deliverables in support of a major portfolio of programmes.  This particular role will be focused on the Digital Transformation portfolio.  Digital Transformation is responsible for delivering major investment and enhancements in our Internet technology platform, services and product offers, positioning us to set the pace in Internet and telephone banking in the UK.

The Lead Portfolio Delivery Architect (Chief Solution Architect) will use leadership as well as expert specialist skills and knowledge to direct teams to define and deliver design solutions for large scale portfolio of programmes.  To contribute to the development and implementation of plans in line with the overall strategy of IT and the business.

Lead Portfolio Delivery Architects are very senior architects capable of managing large teams of solution architects to drive design in key areas of strategic programmes and managing teams of Solution Architects both on project teams and through line management.  The Lead Portfolio Delivery Architect (Chief Solution Architect) - Digital Retail Banking will lead the design through to successful realisation in live production for a large scale E-commerce implementation; including execution of design and delivery capability improvements through design, build and test.

From a strategic perspective they will be expected to lead the development and implementation of strategies/roadmaps across the entire enterprise domain.  

The Lead Portfolio Delivery Architect for the Digital Transformation will require experience of the following technologies:  DataPower, WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere process server, WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus,  Internet banking Foundation Servers and BAPIs, Oracle, DB2, WebSphere Content Manager, Teamsite, DataPower WAFs, C&W DDOS, HP BSM, Tivoli monitoring, LogLogic and around 70 specific host systems (OCIS, GDW, and many others.).
