Lead PMO - Investment Banking - Canary Wharf

My client a Tier one Investment bank based in London, is looking for a lead PMO to run a growing team working on a bank wide project within a cross asset business space. The client is in the midst of growing this team in London and the candidate will become a key member within the businesses internal centre of excellence. The PMO ensures that the senior stakeholders are kept adequately informed of the status of the Programme through establishing effective reporting and escalation processes. A key deliverable of this project is laeding a team of PMO's therefore it is essential that candidates have proven ability to lead and manage PMO teams.

An Investment banking or asset management background is essential however a 'top four' consultancy is preferred.

Skills:

- A good level of product knowledge in one or more areas of the Financial Services industry
- Ability to deliver business and functional requirements documents
- Strong stakeholder management; managing relationships from board level stakeholders to programme managers down to developers
- Proven ability to lead team of PMO's
- Proven organizational, leadership and management skills
- Proven ability to communicate with all levels of Management in a clear, concise manner
- Ability to gather business requirements
- Financial Services experience
