LEAD PMO

LOCATION: Lancashire

DURATION: 6 months

RATE: £325 per day

CLEARANCE: BPSS (Or willing to undergo)

My client is currently looking for a Lead PMO to create and maintain the detailed project plan for Payroll. The successful Lead PMO will be required to assist the management of the payroll project resource profile and provide input into programme reporting artefacts based on the project plan status. The role of Lead PMO will also be required to assess programme changes against the programme plan, its dependencies and key assumptions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

LEAD PMO:

- Managing the activities within the payroll project plan
- Designs project plan, milestones and deliverables to deliver payroll solutions in line with specific project objectives
- Provides inputs and assistance into any programme level LCM activities
- Provides input into programme management reviews and meetings where required
- Embeds knowledge transfer and best practice within the organization
- Engage with supporting suppliers for delivery of relevant projects.
- Supports the planning process, deliverables readiness and financial components of the programme
- Supports the PCN (Change Management) governance process by assessing the impact of any change on the overall programme schedule

PMO GOVERNANCE:

- Ensures alignment of 3rd party providers planning and delivery to overall HRFS plan
- Ensures application of appropriately tailored LCM
- Assists and prepares materials for senior management reviews (CSR, MBR, QBR, Exec Steering Board etc )
- Drives lessons learned and best practice sharing across the programme and business
- Supports reporting and management of the programme and project plans with key stakeholders in the BAE systems Business Groups.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS;

- Process mappingLCM; Project and Programme Management; Process Improvement/Lean
- Project and Programme planning experience with detailed knowledge of Microsoft Project toolset
- RAID management and reporting using industry best practice techniques
