Lead Pipeline Bundle Engineer (Subsea)

Main Function
*Technical assurance for the engineering and design of the subsea pipeline bundle and spools for the Enochdhu Development Project through engineering design, fabrication, installation, testing and pre-commissioning phases.
*Technical integration of Enochdhu with existing Callanish subsea assets and the Britannia platform.
*Technical interface coordination with the subsea structural/towhead engineer and the controls project engineer to assure equipment integration into the subsea pipeline bundle design and fabrication.

Technical expertise and experience in:
*Pipeline bundle and tie-in spool detailed engineering, fabrication, installation, testing and pre-commissioning.
*Static and dynamic stress analysis (installation and operational).
*General crossing engineering and design requirements.
*Coordination and integration of flow assurance data into the pipeline engineering and design.
*Pipeline bundle and tie-in spool testing and pre-commissioning.

General Responsibility
*Develop and maintain the pipeline bundle and tie-in spools element of the basis of design through detailed engineering, fabrication, installation, testing and pre-commissioning.
*Ensure that production operations requirements are reflected in all design, including diver access and IRM operations.
*Oversee and provide guidance to the EPIC contractor(s) on the design, fabrication and installation of the pipeline bundle and tie-in spools.
*Ensure that all design cases for the pipeline bundle and tie-in spools are considered, including but not limited to, fabrication, launch, tow, installation, in-place and accidental conditions.
*Review the selection of coating and insulation systems, as well as CP design.
*Support HAZOP work with pipeline technical input.
*Assist the Project Engineering Manager with pipeline risk identification and offer options during design for pipeline and tie-in spool risk mitigation.
*Monitor engineering query response to ensure timely close out.
*Ensure that all pipeline materials and welding specifications are reviewed by Company Technical Authorities (TAs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
*Provide fabrication site support during the fabrication of the pipeline bundle and tie-in spools and work with the HSE and Quality Managers to deliver the pipeline bundle and tie-in spools safely and to technical specifications.
*Provide technical assurance offshore and support to the Marine Warranty Surveyor during the installation campaigns.
*Ensure close out of all pipeline bundle and tie-in spools reports and external studies.
*Work with the Project Engineering Manager to assist in the Independent Design Verification of the pipeline bundle and tie-in spools.
*Monitor and report the adequacy of the EPIC contractors pipeline resource levels and progress against schedule.

Critical Skills & Experience
*Relevant degree and minimum 10 years experience in subsea pipeline engineering, design, fabrication, testing, installation and commissioning. Specific pipeline bundle experience and subsea tie-backs is preferred.
*Must have a thorough understanding of the pipeline and marine design principles relating to subsea pipeline bundles and tie-in spools including legislative requirements and pertinent design codes and standards.
*Must be experienced in use of analytical methods and software used within discipline such as
*ABACUS and/or ANSYS as well as Orcaflex, including theoretical background to support this.
*Experienced with EPIC contracts and effective at working in small highly effective multi-
communication skills, both written and verbal, in the English language.
*Current offshore survival and medical certificates.
