SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Customer centric and solution oriented OSS Designer/Architect with sound experience in service assurance domain at tier-1/2 global telco, particularly trouble ticketing and incident management journeys.
- Strong knowledge of e2e journeys and processes for Triple Play/Quad Play services and Cu/Fiber accesses, VAS services; service and network incident workflows, jeopardy and SLA calculations, dispatch and routing automation.
- Must possess experience working with customers/vendors as well as show a good understanding of OSS principles, processes, technology and application engineering.
- Exposure on Service Catalogue design principles- Offer, Product, CFS, RFS and Resources
- Sound knowledge of Telecom networking and telecommunication technologies - POTS, IP, Ethernet and Fibre.
- Domain certifications - ITIL v3, eTOM, TOGAF - would be an added advantage.
- Use of architecture and modelling tools - such as EA, MS Visio, BPMN2.0 workflows, etc.

MUST:

- 8/9 + years of strong experience in Telco OSS domain (Fixed) with at least 5+ years in the role of e2e designer.
- Hands-on experience in implementation of leading COTS Incident Management workflows/solutions such as BMC Remedy. Certification would be an advantage.

Job description:

DETAILS

- Liaison with the customer IT & business team to understand/qualify requirements and buy-in for the proposed solution design
- Defining and writing solutions for customer's requirements for the assurance domain areas
- Review Legacy complex IT assurance processes and propose solutions to simplify end-state workflows.
- Act as guide to the Build (Development)' team and review all the Implementation level designs
- Validate all the Non Functional requirements and provide inputs to the applications team on sizing.
- Demonstrate problem solving, solution expertise, consultative 'questioning' and active listening skills
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Support delivery and program management with estimations and planning.
- Collaborate with and lead technical experts to develop detailed specifications.
