Lead Oracle DBA

Resource 1 is in need of a Lead Oracle DBA for a contract in Schuamburg, IL. Individual must have at least 10 years of Database Administration experience, including setting up/configuring Oracle RAC databases. Individual will assist with large-scale database/software upgrades, Disaster Recovery, Database Schema and Datamodelling (Physical/Logical). Individual will help provide an analysis of the current databases, EMC parameters, Oracle RAC configuration and RMAN back-up/recovery. Because of compliance regulations, there will be additional documentation of current databases and processes required. Individual should have experience reverse engineering using the SQL DEVELOPER DATA MODELER tool. Individual will act as the lead on current and future initiatives, including database/software consolidation, disaster recovery, database upgrades and DB compliance. Individual must have very strong verbal communications, documentation skills and an understanding of high-level technical and business concepts. Candidates must be local and no third parties please.
