Lead Network Engineer - Data/VoIP

Lead Network Engineer - Nr Paris - French & English speaking - up to 480 Euro per day

My client, a Global Telecoms company, has an immediate need for a Lead Network Engineer to work on a 6 month contract based just outside of Paris. You must have a good grasp of both French and English to be considered for this role as well as a minimum 5 years related experience within this particular sector.

Some of the responsibilities/experience will include but are not limited to:

* Experience with global server load balancing, VoIP and telephony solutions

*Experience with Cisco, Citrix and Checkpoint

* Subject matter expert for routing, switching and Firewalls

* Interface with Network Implementation and Engineering as necessary to support on-going network activities

* Act as a Network lead in researching, identifying, analysing, resolving problems and implementing solutions and/or enhancements

* Identifying potential voice/data network security risks and recommending plans to address or eliminate risks

* Addressing and solving "multi-layer" network problems

* Knowledge of MPLS, IP, routing protocols, Voice Over IP, SIP/SIP-T

* Familiar with circuits (DSx, OCx, Ethernet, SONET facilities

* familiar with Routers, Ethernet Switches, load balancing devices, sniffers, network tools, VoIP, TDM PBX systems

* Cisco, CCNP or CCI Voice or Avaya ACE certifications preferred.
