Lead Mobile DEV- (Native/Browser)-HIGH Transaction Volumes - SYD

THE COMPANY

Our client is a pocket of technology innovation within one of Australia's largest Financial Institutions. This group focuses on developing bespoke, award winning Web & Mobile software solutions, they have a best in class mentality when it comes to sourcing talent and work on a number of complex and intriguing projects concurrently. Due to an increasing pipeline of work and a spike in consumer demand, they require the services of an accomplished Lead Mobile Developer to build out their near Real Time share trading Mobile application.

THE TEAM

As a key member of a core group of web and mobile experts, you will be responsible for the development, build, and deployment aspects of native iOS and/or Android applications as well as their highly regarded browser based suite. This team is responsible for gathering the requirements from the client, and then using an AGILE methodology, converting those specifications into robust enterprise-grade mobile applications.

THE ROLE

Taking the lead role, you will define all aspects of the SDLC from conception to deployment, taking ownership of the development and implementation of the mobile applications. This role is customer facing, but also very hands-on, where you'll produce bleeding-edge solutions one of Australia's most prestigious companies.

Requirements of the role:

- Demonstrated experience developing complex enterprise-level Apple iOS or Android applications - bonus points if you have experience developing for both operating systems!
- Demonstrated command of Objective-C or Java.
- Demonstrated command of the iOS and Android SDKs.
- Web Development Skills (HTML 5, CSS3, Object Oriented JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX)
- Strong client/customer-facing experience - ideally with a consultancy or as a freelancer - you will be liaising directly with customers and working onsite their in-house development teams.
- Interface integration and API schema development experience - XML, SOAP, JSON, etc.
- Knowledge of efficient coding/design patterns and fundamental web and mobile development principles.
- Full SDLC understanding.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
