Lead Mechanical / Piping Design Engineer

NRL Opportunity; Lead Mechanical/Piping Design Engineer- Grangemouth

Our client currently has a requirement for a Lead Mechanical/Piping Design Engineer to be based in Grangemouth on a long term contract.
Purpose:
* To pre-engineer all Piping workscopes for TAR's 2013-2014.
* To support planning, cost estimating, and construction scheduling of these workscopes withing the TAR team.
* To assist with defining contracting strategy and selection of contractors for the construction of these workscopes.
* To support the risk assessment and mitigation actions to help ensure the success of turnarounds.
* To ensure performance of the TAR programme meets business expectations of HSE, Cost and Schedule.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Educated to Degree level or Equivalent, in a relevant subject
* Extensive Piping Design, Fabrication and Construction experience
* Experienced leadership of Construction projects and Turnaround Management within Petrochemical manufacturing assets.
* Successful record of HSE Management within Construction and Turnarounds.
