Lead Mechanical Engineer/Principle Mechanical Engineer - CONTRACT

Rates: Negotiable

My client is looking for an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer/Principle Mechanical Engineer to join a growing company with several new projects in the pipeline. The successful candidate will be someone who is very hands on and a big team player, you will also be able to work alone although you will have assistance where needed. Your workload may also change daily and you will be in a very busy workshop environment.

These are the skills and experience my client is looking for:

* At least 5 years experience

* Design in manufacturing.

* 3D modelling.

* Autodesk/Inventor.

* 2D drafting.

* Produce support calculations by hand or FE software.

* Degree qualified/HNC/with reinvent experience.

* Line manager experience (desirable).

* Helping a well established business.

* Flexible in getting estimations.

* Tendering to the support process.
