Lead Manager Continuing Healthcare

My NHS client based in London is looking for a Lead Manager for continuing care.
You will need to ideally have a clinical background or a strong history in continuing care, particularly working around specialised care ie Anorexia, Specialist Dementia cases.

You would be reporting into the Assistant Director of Mental Health need to have experience working within a borough council.

The post holder will play a key role in bringing together the relevant stakeholders as the ability to work as a multi-disciplinary team, to ensure quality and value for money (vfm) in provision of NHS Funded Continuing, and Nursing Care. The post holder will provide leadership and management to the NHS CHC Team.

The post holder will lead monitoring for some of the formal partnerships with the Local Authority. This role has the lead responsibility for working in partnership, particularly with NHS colleagues, patients and their carers and local authority colleagues, ensuring high quality and performance outcomes and vfm and spending within budget.

This is an immediate start role running until the end of March 2013 with a strong possibility of extension. The day rate is negotiable for the right candidate.
