Linux/ Redhat/ MySQl/ Apache/ Java applications

A fantastic position has come up for a very strong technical Lead Linux Administrator to manage a team of 6 engineers and take responsibility of all the Linux and application systems. This includes their worldwide data centres, applications and all up and coming projects. The company is a world wide organisation who operates with high end companies; such as Tier 1 financial organisations. The systems run on a 24/7 platform and high availability is a business critical priority. You would be part of the on going development of the team and processes; and the role would remain 70% hands on.

Essential:

Linux - any flavours
MySQL
Team Leading/ management
Working within high availability 24/7 environments

Desirable:

Apache (LAMP)
Java application knowledge

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a very fast growing company where you will be a key point of contact and really taking responsibility for the team as well as Linux systems.

Working on the same technologies and team as the role above, you would be the senior team member also taking part in projects and 3rd line support with opportunity to grow within the company.
