Lead IT Associate Project Manager

Our direct Fortune 500 client in the North East Cleveland area is looking for a Lead Associate Project Manager for a 16 month project (with possible extensions).
Plan and manage the successful delivery of projects for special lines of business within the Product organization.
Lead a project or "alley" team comprised of 5-6 developers and BSAs plus 3-4 additional resources from external teams.
Work closely with business partners to implement solutions that meet the business goals.
Work closely with the EPMO to ensure adherence to EPMO standards for project management.
This role also requires a focus on quality and predictive delivery of projects.

Required:

- 6+ years of experience leading formalized IT projects or in a technical role facilitating or leading aspects of IT projects
- Project experience in application development preferred
- Ability to successfully manage and oversee multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while obtaining a high degree of project delivery awareness
- Demonstrates effective decision making and problem solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships, and build trust and confidence with project stakeholders and team.
- Ability to guide and lead the work of others, and coach and mentor less experienced team members
- Interpersonal and communication skills with project team and stakeholders
- Leverage solid negotiation skills to find successful resolutions for complex and/or unique issues
- Working knowledge of industry standards (eg ISO 9000, PMBOK), project management methodologies and software development methodology.
- Solid knowledge of project management and scheduling tools (ie TeamPlayis a plus)
- Organizational skills with the ability to execute project objectives through to completion and motivate others to complete deliverables and meet project expectations.
