Lead iOS Developer

LEAD IOS DEVELOPER - IOS - OBJECTIVE C - UX - UI - XCODE - API'S -AGILE - TDD

Our client, a Household name, is currently looking to recruit a Lead iOS Developer to work in the full life cycle of the development of iOS Mobile apps from concept, design, build, deployment, test, app store releases and support. This includes further development of existing apps and defining app life cycle.

You will work with Product Owners and Cross functional teams to deliver high quality market leading iOS apps that are fully usable iOS apps, adhering to quality design, design standards, architecture and code standards.

As an iOS Developer, your main purpose will be to create robust well designed E-commerce driven mobile applications.

KEY SKILLS & BACKGROUND

- Solid understanding and practical knowledge of the full mobile development and application life cycle.
- A good understanding of iOS UX/UI guidelines/best practices and the ability to engage with cross functional teams to build high quality mobile apps
- iOS development (iOS SDK, Xcode, ObjectiveC, Swift,)
- Experience with mobile development issues related to performance optimisation, caching, security and native components/SDK's.
- Experience with outside data sources and API's (JSON, SOAP, Rest, XML)
- Flair for clean code, reusability, testability and readability (SOLID, TDD,)
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies.
- Experience of Test Driven Development, Unit Testing, Automation, Continuous integration.
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Any knowledge of Titanium (Ti. Studio, JavaScript, Appcelerator)
