Lead Internal Communications Business Partner - 6 months £275 - £310 Day rate

My client is a well-known service business based in Yorkshire who are experiencing major change, transformation and integration and they have an immediate requirement for a Lead Internal Communications Business Partner to provide strategic and operational support, carry out expert level activities and maximise the professionalism and effectiveness of communications across the business. The role holder will also provide a consultative role in the context of the activities carried out and have management responsibilities.

Role & Context
Provide a complex and fully integrated communications business partnering services for 1800-2500 colleagues
Responsible for delivery and continuous improvement of business wide all colleague corporate communications channels

Location: multisite and offsite People management responsibilities across three sites for 4 people. Relationships at all levels internally and with 3rd parties and suppliers
Time: Short term communications requirements delivery and longer term communications strategy and planning development and delivery

Skills & Knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong understanding and experience of delivering message, media and measurement aspects of communications strategies
Strong time management skills with the ability to manage many different tasks and projects simultaneously
Excellent organisational and project management skills
Comfortable liaising with Directors, colleagues, external partners and suppliers with the ability to build strong relationships and influence business communication decisions
Strong team working skills and the ability to motivate and lead working parties to deliver communications and business initiatives in terms of working hours due to the nature of this role, for example, travel to other offices, suppliers, events, Company announcements requiring unsociable hours
Strong administration and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills
Creativity and innovation - eye for detail and able to exploit opportunities to ensure innovative approaches to outputs
