Lead Integrity Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a global Oil and Gas consultancy who is offering an excellent career opportunity for experienced Integrity Engineers. The position of Lead Integrity Engineer offers a fantastic opportunity on a long-term contract basis with the potential for further extension (staff may be considered if requested), with a major Oil and Gas consultancy in Aberdeen, on an excellent package.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the Integrity Management Team which provides IM services within the Subsea Operations Group.

The main activities of the role will include:

*Lead a team of Integrity Engineers
*Provide technical leadership for the IM team
*Develop an IM group strategy/business plan to grow the team
*Manage any pipeline engineering work performed by engineering team including corrosion assessments/fitness for purpose assessments.
*Manage condition assessments.
*Manage life extension assessments.
*Identify new technology/software to improve our capabilities and our client service
*Manage regular review meetings.
*Develop and maintain integrity management systems.
*Supervise others within integrity team, direct work and ensure deliverables are met
*Provide checking level for approval of reports and assist in management of quality

To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:

*Experienced in Supervising a team
*Mechanical Engineering or Materials based degree
*Extensive experience in Pipeline Integrity Management
*Held a Lead role or equivalent in IM role in another organisation
*Experience of extensive client contact
*Corrosion engineering experience or qualification (preferable)
*Flexible pipe experience (preferable)
