Lead Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer

Yoh has a six (6) plus month contract to permanent position for a LEAD INSTRUMENTATION helping leading corporations and governments make the world a better place

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work as an instrumentation/controls engineer on multiple projects including managing other engineers and designers.
- Experience developing instrument indexes and cable schedules
- Prepare construction drawings
- Instrumentation and controls design

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- 15 plus years of experience level in instrumentation and controls design in industrial chemical manufacturing facilities.
- Instrumentation/Control Systems Lead Engineer w/PE
- Experience as instrumentation/controls engineer on multiple projects including managing other engineers and designers. Experience with budget, scope, and estimate development and administration. Lead engineer experience is required including working to schedules, budgets.
- Experience designing loop sheets, control elementaries, instrument location drawings, and network drawings (Ethernet, FieldBus, DeviceNet, etc.).
- Experience developing instrument indexes and cable schedules.
- Must have experience specifying instrumentation and control valves.
- Must be able to prepare and check construction drawings.
- PE by exam is required. Tennessee PE is a plus. If not registered in TN then must be able to obtain in 45 days or less.
- Understanding of National Electrical Code requirements
- Working understanding of Pressure, Flow, Level, Temperature and Analytical Instruments
- Have experience with Hazardous Classification installations and with Intrinsically Safe Installations
