Lead Healthcare Data Analyst

Yoh has six (6) month plus contract opportunity for a LEAD HEALTHCARE DATA ANALYST to join our client in Center City, Philadelphia PA. This temporary/contract position could potentially become permanent.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for the design, development and administration of transactional and analytical data constructs/structures. Included within those responsibilities are the areas of data access and delivery technologies. Includes expertise in data quality, data governance, data organization, metadata, and data profiling.
- Utilize analytical skills to analyze data and produce high value reports for upper management
- May provide technical support on data warehouse teams. Data set sizes are usually huge (in excess of hundreds of millions of records).
- Demonstrated ability to move from one sequential assignment to the next (work environment and priorities can change quickly depending on business needs).
- Demonstrated ability to move data between production systems and across multiple platforms

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Seven to ten (7-10) plus years overall experience with five (5) plus years of experience with Healthcare and/or medical data
- Ability to extract data from various sources, analyze and provide succinct reports
- STRONG functional knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10, HIPAA, CPT-4, etc.
- Experience with major querying tools preferred
- Works substantially with little supervision or oversight to deliver key milestones
- Less than 30 days to self sufficiency
- SAS, SQL, MS Office, Macros, some Visual Basic
- Ability to deliver highly technical information to a broader audience beyond the team lead while influencing within the team
