This is a great opportunity to join one of the UK's leading automotive companies on a 5 month contract.
The role will act as lead Functional Safety Engineer for a new strategic control system, following the Functional Safety process closely aligned to ISO-26262. The role includes working with other parts of this company and the tier 1 suppliers of electronic control units in the application of functional safety. The role also includes resolving system interaction issues at the electrical integration level.
Experience required for this role:-
-ISO-26262/IEC61508 Standard application from item definition through to integrity definition and test.
-Control System architecture definition and analysis
-Safety Goal Verification & Validation testing
