Lead Exploration Geologist - Structrual Geology - Oil & Gas

You will be responsible for the technical evaluation of assets as well as the evaluation of exploration prospects through analysis of drilling and data results. You will establish estimates of the assets potential as well as studying the long term commercially viability of said assets.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out approved exploration operations with Senior Geophysicist & Exploration Team Leader
- Interpretation of data
- Management of external geological studies
- Mentor & coach junior team members
- Create reservoir maps and integrate into regional mapping and reserves calculations

You will have:

- B.Sc in Geology (M.Sc or PhD is a distinct advantage)
- Proven operational success in structural geology
- 15 years in the Oil & Gas industry
- Strong software skills
- Excellent technical knowledge with strong communication skills.

You must have the right to live and work in Australia to be considered for this role. Candidates with previous Australian experience are highly preferable.
Salary will depend on experience but will be in the region of $230,000 - $250,000. Salaries outside this range will be considered for an exceptional skill set.
