Lead Enterprise Architect - Insurance - 12m Contract - Sydney

THE CLIENT

Our client is a market leading financial services organization with a large global footprint. They've been heavily investing in technology and new products in order to support their continued growth. As a result, they have kicked off a large program of work due to run for the next few years with the aim of providing top notch services to their many customers by overhauling technology and processes.

THE ROLE

Leading a team of experienced architects, you will be responsible for driving change within the insurance business. Ideally, you will strong domain knowledge around General Insurance policy, regulation, and process. You'll be responsible for not only the technical leadership of the team; you will be the go-to person from a business perspective, managing internal and external stakeholders as well as technology vendors and partners. You'll be driving strategy and direction for an insurance technology re-platforming, so previous experience in such a role will be highly advantageous.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

- DEMONSTRATED 10+ years of experience as an Enterprise or Solutions Architect
- DEMONSTRATED 5+ years of insurance domain experience - General Insurance.
- DEMONSTRATED experience leading teams of architects.
- Experience with insurance technology/claims platform decommissioning & replacement (re-platforming)
- Experience with business process outsourcing (BPO).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
