Lead Engineer Middle Console / Interior (m/f)

Actually we are looking for a Design Engineer / Lead Engineer (m/f) for interior parts within an interesting project in automotive industry.

Your tasks wil be:
+ Responsibility up to SOP for a part of the middle console
+ technical project coordination in collaboration with Program Management, Mechanical, Hardware, Software Engineering, Prototyping/Prototype Shop, Testing, Quality Management and Manufacturing
+ Technical interface with the customer, the business units and the suppliers including specifications definition and adjustment
+ Preparation, execution and documentation of technical reviews
+ Responsible for the accomplishment and/or cooperation of/to the realisation of quality preventing procedures (e.g. D-FMEA, ...) by the engineering team
+ Formulation of concepts, engineering schedule plans and cost estimations
+ Responsible for the creation of technical specification documents for the customers and suppliers by the engineering team
+ Requisition requests, tracking of the engineering project budget and keeping of budget limits

+ Min. 3 years project experience in interior products
+ Process knowledge for interior products
+ VW-expertise (KVS, VW norms and standards)
+ English and German language is a MUST - Fluency in reading, writing and speaking
+ Project management experience
+ Good knowledge in CATIA V5
+ Good grip on time and activity management tools (e.g. MS-Project), presentation tools (e.g. MS-PowerPoint), Office-Tools (MS-Excel and MS-Word)
+ Self confidence, self-reliance, team player, sociability with sense of responsibility
