Lead Engineer Big Data Migration wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Several years' experience on managed EDW platforms with profound knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter
- Solid understanding of big data architecture, challenges and migration options as well as hands-on experience on Cloudera Hadoop platforms
- Solid background in data warehouse programming and architecture with technical leadership experience
- Expertise in managing a large number of upstream and downstream data feeds and application
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Leading the implementation of a global data sourcing and provisioning platform to support the evolving regulatory needs for downstream GC applications
- Providing technical assistance to the team and driving issue resolution including optimization and performance tuning
- Collaborating with project delivery lead in every aspect of the development process
- Leading technical migration to the strategic data platform for GC
- Creating and maintaining target architecture vision and roadmap for big data platform migration
