LEAD ENGINEER

A rapidly developing energy company in the Midlands is looking for a Lead Engineer to join them on an initial 3-6 month basis.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- End to end project delivery - strategy/design/commissioning/operations/maintenance
- Proven experience in electricity generation
- Knowledge of procurement and negotiating tendors
- Proficient with MS Project
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, senior management and third parties
- HNC/MA in Engineering

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

- Specific experience in the use of gas refined/diesel fuelled electrical engines, ideally up to or above 33kv

LENGTH: 3 - 6 months

RATE: Negotiable

LOCATION: Midlands

DAY TO DAY ROLE:

As Lead Engineer you will travel to relevant sites to lead the design, maintenance and commissioning of 33kv electrical engines. The role will include elements of procurement, scheduling and planning of resources, negotiating contracts and tendors with third parties whilst inevitably having an input into the strategy of the scope of work.
