Lead EC&I Engineer

Progressive global energy have been tasked with finding a Lead EC&I Engineer for an ongoing contract at our Aberdeen based client.

The Lead Engineer role is a hands on design based role with an emphasis more towards C&I and you would be responsible for delivering a package of work within one or more projects within your discipline.

Typical duties would include:

* Development of designs to technical specifications using AutoCAD and/or AMTECH
* Preparation of supporting calculations to substantiate designs and the checking of Junior members calculations prior to submission
* Regular contribution to reviews (safety, risk, HAZOP) from a technical perspective
* Preparation of design documentation throughout the process including scope of works, technical files and other required documentation to meet regulations

We would expect Lead Engineers to have experience in the below:

* Electrical design including, design calculations, control panel design, system design, cabling, sizing, power supply and distribution.

Oil and Gas industry experience is an advantage but other regulated industry experience could include Nuclear, Defence etc.
