Lead Developer Java/Months/Den Haag

LEAD DEVELOPER JAVA (3X)/ MONTHS/DEN HAAG

A Lead Developer required ASAP for one of our clients to be based in Den Haag for a period of months.

The consultant will perform the following services in relation to the project:

- Design and develop Java applications and components;
- Based on the high level design, create and document a detailed design using UML, ArchiMate and other modelling techniques;
- Identify different options for implementing functionality and propose most suitable option;
- Implement the design for software components inline with command Java coding standards and practices;
- Translate the non functional requirements (eg performance, reliability) into technical designs for meeting these requirements;
- Write unit tests and/or integration tests for software components;
- Coordinate and assign tasks with/to other developers;
- Liaise with other technical teams working on sub-modules of the same solution;
- Liaise with ICT Operations and ICT Architecture;

Report progress status to Project Manager The management of the service provision will be done at the level of the contractor and Europol. However on a practical day-to-day basis, the consultant will liaise with and inform the Europol technical manager responsible for the development of the project regarding the status and progress of the tasks set out above.

MUST HAVES

- 8 years experience in Java
- 6 years experience in JEE
