Capita have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Developer to join a well established local authority based in Chelmsford, Essex. This position offers a 4 month initial contract and requires the successful candidate to start ASAP.

Our Client is undergoing the largest transformation programme of its kind in the UK. The transformation of Essex's corporate systems (TCS programme) is a key programme of work; which is seeing the implementation of a new recruitment/staffing system which will allow hiring managers' greater access and control of staffing establishments.

This position offers a great opportunity to contribute to the largest transformation programme of its kind in the UK. As a UPK & eLearning Developer/UPK & eLearning specialist, you will be required to contribute to the design, development and delivery of TCS Training interventions for all releases including face to face and alternative methods such as webinars and video-bites, in support of rollouts of new and upgraded corporate systems that will contribute to the successful development of user knowledge, confidence, adoption and best practice.

JOB PURPOSE

- Manage production and distribution of training materials to employees via UPK/Taleo Learn
- Input into employee communications for TCS (One, Plus One, Intranet)
- Undertake design, development and delivery of UPK content and eLearning modules
- Contribute to the design of training assessment/evaluation methods.
- Analyse feedback gathered in the assessments and act up on it in a timely manner
- Lead the design, development and implementation of a high quality training solution
- Lead the development of a solution to enhance employees' system usage effectiveness and satisfaction
- Manage production and distribution of training materials to employees via UPK/Taleo Learn

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

- Expertise in Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK)
- Experienced in designing, developing and delivering IT training solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Taleo Learn/Recruit/Perform and/or Oracle eBusiness Suite design and delivery

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Learning and Development
- Knowledge and use of E-learning software such as Captivate
