Lead Developer

A multinational, IT driven company, seek a senior Lead Developer (Front End). This will be based in their Dublin City HQ. Initial 12 month contracts, this is very likely to be extended beyond the initial terms. Excellent daily rates and a contractor friendly environment await you.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Track record in software development, with evidence of delivering multi-component, scalable applications
- Experience with methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Test Driven Development)
- Experience in FRONT END DEVELOPMENT using CSS and JAVASCRIPT including jQuery. You can code clean, semantic and very accessible code that is totally cross browser and standards compliant.
- Good knowledge and skills in HTML5 and CSS3, UI and UX disciplines
- Good knowledge of repositories such as SVN
- Good knowledge of JSON and XML essential
- Good knowledge of FLEX AND FLASH
- Good knowledge of Frontend Technologies such as category AJAX

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Knowledge of working within a Continuous Integration or Continuous Deployment environment.
- Knowledge of XML/XSLT.
- Knowledge of repositories
- Knowledge of process automation engineer such as GRUNT, YEOMAN or similar
- Knowledge of Testing/Unit such as Testing JS, Jasmine, Mocha, Handdlebars

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsibilities include directing Front End development teams, including off-shore teams.
- You will be in charge of eg: designing, documenting, supporting and implementing enterprise applications.
- Working within an "Agile" Development Environment, you will be part of a team of Software Engineers, who work with cutting edge technology. You will bring a strong technical web/mobile background. You will have the abilities to deliver Applications across numerous platforms.

This company can facilitate an immediate start. However, they are happy to accommodate a notice period where necessary.
