LEAD DBA / ORACLE / SQL SERVER 2008 / SYBASE / UDB DB2 / MYSQL / DATABASE DESIGN/ MODELLING.
Progressive are currently seeking a Lead DBA consultant on a long term project on behalf of a large financial organisation based in central London.
Daily duties and essential skill sets:
* Provide inputs for capacity management
Database refresh, re-org, Backup
* DR & BCP - DB fail-over design, maintenance
* Hands on experience in implementing and maintaining backup and recovery of the databases
* Database, application tuning and performance monitoring.
* Performance baselining and tuning recommendations experience would be highly benefitial
Rate: Negotiable
Type: Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Location: London City
