Lead CRA (Freelance) - Home Based in UK

Our client, a small US-based biopharmaceutical company, are looking for a UK-based freelance Lead CRA to join their team for 2015. This opening is for an initial 12 month contract with strong likelihood of extension.

This role is primarily focused on the oversight of a CRO-provided monitoring team and therefore involves travel (at around 60%) within the UK and mainland Europe for co-monitoring and oversight visits. It is a truly unique opportunity to join a sponsor with a small presence in Europe at this stage.

The successful candidate will have the following:
- Minimum of 5 years as a CRA or equivalent;
- Experience as a Lead or Principal CRA with oversight, co-monitoring and mentoring of CRAs;
- Risk-based monitoring experience;
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 60%.
