Lead Consultant - BMC Remedy

The incumbent will be involved in the delivery of the BMC Remedy ticketing systems for IT and Network as a key element of the OSS Assurance stack.

Principally the role is responsible for:

- Designing technical solutions in response to operational issue.
- Remedy administration (day to day) of multiple environments
- Technical roadmap and evolution ticketing solution
- Ensuring that the technical solution design meets the functional requirements as defined by formal requirements process.
- Maintain and evolve a sandpit of the ticketing platform while setting direction.
- Maintain a technical understanding of the end-to-end solution, including other domains integrating with Assurance.
- Be involved in enhancing the solution once deployed into production, through the formal Change Management processes.
- Perform technical risk and impact assessment on design, changes, defects and issues.

Skills:

- Telecommunications industry experience on large scale deployments;
- High degree of familiarity with the BMC Remedy and Atrium suite. Candidates with technical certifications on BMC Remedy will be given favourable consideration.
- Experience implementing Ticketing and Assurance solutions across different network technologies
- Experience with BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management (BPPM) or BMC Atrium Orchestrator Toolset
- CMDB experience (theory and implementation)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to work autonomously;
- Ability to work well under pressure;
- Ability to determine priorities and manage tasks to completion;
