Lead CAD/Microstation Designer

Yoh has a two (2) year contract opportunity for a LEAD CAD/MICROSTATION DESIGNER to join our client in Allentown, PA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Use MicroStation CAD software including 2D & 3D to develop complex assembly drawings based on specifications, in house standards and instructions.
- Be able to check drawings completed by other designers.
- Create Bills of Material using MRP system.
- Work independently with minimal supervision on concurrent projects or tasks.

Job Qualifications:

- Proficiency with the use of MicroStation CAD software including 2D CAD operation; basic math, algebra, geometry, trigonometry; be able to express information in verbal and written form.
- Knowledge of pressure vessels, piping and welded assemblies preferred.
- Experience with manufacturing work processes and assembly methods are also a plus.
- Education/Tenure - Associates Degree (Technology or Drafting) plus six to eight (6-8) years of experience; or three (3) years in related vocational-technical high school program plus ten (10+) years of experience.
