Lead Cabling Engineer

Our client is looking for a Lead Cabling Engineer who will complete the installation, modification, repair and maintenance of cameras, Bluetooth beacons, data cabling and other devices within retail stores and shopping malls - all over Europe.

You will survey installation areas to determine work methods, tools, materials, etc. You will act as the primary contact for all installations and must utilise efficient and effective communications to relay all statuses, risks, dependencies, and timelines, both verbally and in writing, to the respective Project Manager.

REQUIRED:
Willing to travel across Europe frequently
Must possess vehicle to travel
Must have own tools and equipment
Additional European language preferred
Reasonable knowledge of electrical equipment, wiring, data and structured cabling
Credibly references, upon request

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of 3 years' experience with data and structured cabling.
Demonstrate knowledge of LAN/WAN network cabling standards and components.
An understanding of the retail industry and how client organisations implement technology solutions is preferred.
Must have experience travelling outside of the United Kingdom.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Ability to travel 80% - 100% of the time
Valid driver's license and passport required
Ability to work extended hours as needed
Self-motivated
