LEAD BUSINESS ANALYST (RISK DATA)

On behalf of our client, one of the most prestigious financial institutions, we are looking for a LEAD BUSINESS ANALYST (RISK DATA). For this 6 MONTHS with possibility to extend position based in Zürich, our client is looking for an ENGLISH AND GERMAN speaking candidate, who is available as soon as possible.
BUSINESS AREA:
The project is part of a major program, which aims to implement the full compliancy with the BCBS 239 rules. Particularly the project establishes an IT solution, which will be able to show a global bank wide view of a single customer (especially in regard to the key figures, like eg exposure). For this the data of the CRO division must be prepared and delivered to the central IT solution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use Business Analysis tools and techniques to capture and clearly articulate the as-is business processes, identify problems and inefficiencies and define business requirements for process improvements.
- Serve as a liaison with Project managers, Risk managers, IT managers & testing managers to identify, define and accurately document business requirements following CS best practice.
- Manage requirements and maintain requirements traceability throughout the project life cycle to ensure that requirements are delivered as specified, and change impact assessments can be made
- Communicates clearly with all stakeholders and demonstrates an understanding of business processes and related issues. Develops multiple solutions options and can convey the merits and issues of each to ensure clear understanding of impact across the organization
- Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for integration, functional, performance and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, manage and escalate where appropriate project risks and issues associated to requirements gathering, analysis and design
- Design training and support documentation for new projects
- Ensure compliance with established guidelines for accurate and timely project delivery milestones
- Able to work with minimum supervision and prioritize multiple high priority tasks
WHO I AM LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience as a Lead Business Analyst in large financial institutions
- Experience in risk data implementations
- Excellent understanding of business processes, financial products, risk management and regulatory requirement (ie FSA Basel II/III, FINMA)
- Fluent in English and German (oral and written) is a must
