ROLE - Lead Business Analyst

DURATION - 6 months

LOCATION - Glasgow

OVERVIEW OF THE PROGRAMME

Initiative to deliver a consistent centralised reconciliation model

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Provide analysis and requirements for reconciliations which are to be migrated from Legacy platforms to TLM Premium, including on-boarding of new client reconciliations.
- Manages the development of business system/process requirements taking part in peer and phase reviews ensuring full understanding of the business problems and opportunities.
- Works with the solutions/business unit architect to identify and evaluate solutions that enable the organisation to achieve its goals.
- Where appropriate produces abstract models that enable requirements to be understood providing a relevant level of detail required to allow design decisions to be agreed.
- Ensures that on-going project activities (development, testing, packaging and roll-out) and changes effecting project scope are in line with business needs and requirements.
- As required inputs into business case development by assisting in providing estimates for each stage and component of the project/programme, gathering data from other/suppliers and consolidating.
- Uses knowledge and experience to shape the solution, identifies opportunities for business improvement to new and existing processes, gaining approval and managing the implementation of change.
- Collaborates with other members of the project team to assess the impact of changes to business requirements on agreed solutions.
- Knowledge of TLM Premium or other TLM versions.
- Ability to create TLM match rules and workflows.
- Knowledge of SmartStudio or Design Studio, ie ability to create views and dashboards.
- Ability to liaise with IT to configure data feeds.
- Knowledge of TLM Control.
- Knowledge of SmartSchema.
- SQL knowledge.
- Understanding of database tables.
- Experience of PowerPoint, Excel and Access.
- Ability to manipulate reports and data into more impactful reports and presentations.
- Draws clear insights from analysis and trends.
- Communicates effectively to senior management.
- Highly literateMS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Visio).

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Understanding of operational reconciliation activities
- Accounting background preferred (not essential).
- Understanding of Business Objects, Crystal Reports, SQL, Databases will be an advantage.
