Lead Business Analyst - Mifid 2 - Banking

LEAD BUSINESS ANALYST sought by our client, a major multinational bank, for a large scale global implementation project for the MiFID II. This is a hybrid role which will draw ON BOTH BUSINESS AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, as well as having a SUBSTANTIAL PROGRAM MANAGEMENT COMPONENT. The successful candidate will have had several years experience as an IT Business Analyst as well as experience with large implementation projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:
- Establish the requirements management process at a strategic level for all related topics
- Collect, collate and decide high level requirements and ensure handover to delivery project
- Manage the scope of a project, including ongoing reassessment
- Coach and guide project requirements engineers across entire solution delivery life cycle
- Ensure high quality of requirements artifacts in delivery projects
- Create common understanding on project scope between business program management, business project management, IT program management and IT project management
- Support delivery projects in requirements space as needed
- Business process documentation
- Creating a final IT feature list
- Create, review and assess timelines, assumptions, feedbacks and change requests
REQUIREMENTS
- Several years experience as a IT Business Analyst in the field of banking
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Experience with MiFID would be a major plus
- Experience with large scale implementation projects from a technical perspective
