LEAD BUSINESS ANALYST- ECOMMERCE, RETAIL

Lead Business Analyst required. Salmon are currently recruiting for a Lead Business Analyst to work within our fast growing Consultancy Services Team.

We are currently seeking an additional Business Analyst for our eCommerce team. You will be working as part of an integrated client/Salmon team in a highly interactive environment based in Hammersmith. You will be a key part of the team and expected to take the initiative in ensuring the business needs of our client are fully understood and met by the proposed solution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To gather and document requirements and translate them into clear work specifications that can be used and interpreted by both business and technical users. This will involve facilitating workshops and assessing source documentation from the customer
Identify options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
Create logical and innovative solutions to complex problems
Present proposals to clients
Analyse business systems in order to recommend efficiencies
Provide estimates for future analysis work
Work closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure any technical solution delivers customer satisfaction
Provide training to users of a new system as required
Provide analysis support to the test team
Plan and work flexibly to meet deadlines
Keep up to date with technical as well as industry sector advances
Customer Service responsibilities:
Maintain good customer relationships at all levels of the organization
Maintaining consistently high levels of customer satisfaction and effectively escalating business critical situations to as required
Managing high profile customer situations and relationships both internally and externally and client expectations

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

MANDATORY EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
5yrs+ analysis experience
eCommerce and retail experience
Experience in Agile Methodology
Production of functional specifications or similar
Experience of analysis and design of systems (package integration and bespoke development)
Experience of Business Process engineering
Knowledge of formal Change Management
Ability to work on his/her own initiative to an agreed action plan
Strong communication skills as this role requires a high level of communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
including experience of writing accurate and concise reports
Strong problem solving, time management and organizational skills
Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
Energetic, enthusiastic with strong attention to detail

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
Exposure to:
SQL
Knowledge of accessibility guidelines
Website usability
Knowledge of the project life cycle and any project development methodologies
Knowledge of Project Management
