Lead Business Analyst - 6 Month Contract - Edinburgh

My client is offering an attractive opportunity for Lead Business Analysts in or around the Edinburgh area. Based on a 6 month contract, the successful candidate will support a key mandatory change project, to be delivered in the financial sector.

Basic outline of duties:

- Requirements gathering to develop and agree a set of clearly defined business requirements
- Producing a Business Analysis plan, defining the deliverable milestones, tasks and activities
- Reporting progress and status to the appropriate stakeholders on a timely basis
- Supporting the successful delivery of the project, managing risks and issues appropriately throughout
- Follow the appropriate elements of the business' project delivery life cycle, including completing formal reviews where necessary

Essential skills:

- A strong Financial Services background is essential
- Payments experience within a financial environment
- Strong knowledge of CHAPS/BACS payment flows
- Able to identify an appropriate testing approach for requirements
- Able to analyse business requirements, problems and opportunities to create an effective business solution
