Lead Business Analyst - Edinburgh

My client is offering an attractive opportunity for a Lead Agile Business Analyst to be based in Edinburgh. Based on an initial 6 month contract, the successful candidate will work within Consumer Finance, supporting an Agile delivery pilot.

Basic outline of duties:

- Determining operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats
- Analysing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams
- Supporting the product owner and UX designer in facilitating end user usability testing
- Preparing technical reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends
- Meet deadlines and work within estimates to deliver within scope of the project

Essential skills:

- This is not a standard business analyst role, as candidates are required to have excellent Agile experience, and evidence of working in the role of scrum master for daily task management
- Extensive proven experience working with the Agile methodology
- Demonstrating the ability to investigate business requirements, problems and opportunities and to seek effective business solutions
- Proven ability to deliver in a highly-collaborative, team-focused environments
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask
