Lead Business Analyst

Edinburgh: Lead Business Analyst - £400 - £450 per day.

EA Consulting Groups' Edinburgh based Banking client urgently requires a motivated and experienced Lead Business Analyst to join them on a contract basis.

Part of a Retirement programme that is focused on improving the customer experience. As the Lead Business Analyst you will contribute to the research and analysis of the concepts and ideas and review of existing processes, while recommending specific actions.

The role is to lead a team of up to 8 BAs.

Responsibilities will include - Recruitment and on boarding of new BAs to the team. Developing and planning approach to business analysis. Managing delivery of analysis phase, including motivating and supporting BAs in developing requirements and providing quality assurance across the analysis evidence.

In addition candidate will need to delivery - Requirements Elicitation, Requirements Development, Requirements Management, Solution assessment & validation, Consultancy advice & domain knowledge.

The role will work closely with the business to understand their needs, processes and systems.

CORE SKILLS

MUST HAVE LIFE & PENSIONS KNOWLEDGE - understanding of finance operations and reporting processes. For example general ledger, Actuarial modelling, statutory reporting and use of finance data
Proven ability to lead a team and cope with complicated and competing needs

Skills - business process modelling, understanding of data definitions, requirements gathering, scoping
