Lead Business Analyst

Projektbeschreibung

Responsibilities:

* Create and maintain adhoc queries and complex joins to assist with required data analysis and reconciliation on large data sets.
* Assist with all phases of the project lifecycle. Analysis, design, development, testing and implementation to ensure project deliverables meet stated expectations for scope, quality, cost, timing, and business objectives.
* Independently research issues / questions from the legal vehicle controllers and business area controllers relating to project deliverables to facilitate a resolution, escalating where appropriate.
* Work closely with Finance to help define business requirements, define testing scenarios and communicate and coordinate implementation timeline.
* Work closely with IT to help define the Functional Design Documents and provide information needed to create IT test scenarios.
* Liaison between IT and Finance to facilitate communication on requirements and testing results.
* Define the user acceptance review process with the business.
* Create Test Plans and perform testing based on the Functional Design Documents.
* Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
* Effectively communicate relevant project information.
* Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
* Ensure appropriate use of Deutsche Bank project management tools, governance, processes, and methodologies.
* Identify and track issues and risks, assess impact, and execute resolution and/or mitigation plan.
* Conduct project status sessions with representatives from any or all departments involved in the project.
* Develop training and handover material

Skills/Experience:

* Minimum of five years experience working within the profession of Business Analysis within the Investment Banking IT or Finance arena.
* Minimum of three years experience working on Global General Ledger Projects (preferably SAP) with a concentration on Financial Services US Regulatory Reporting, and specifically the Broker Dealer.
* Background in the Financial Services Industry - preferably Investment Banking - Global Markets, Corporate Banking.
* Understanding of capital calculations and fixed income products.
* Ability to work closely with Finance SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) and translate to technology.
* Process mapping tools and techniques, knowledge and ability to build use cases
* Expert level analytical and problem solving skills, able to show flexibility regarding problem solving
* Advanced knowledge in MS Office products
* Awareness of Quality Management tools and techniques
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work remotely when required with technology and project team members globally.
* Excellent team leader/worker, able to work in virtual teams in a matrix organizations
* Motivated team player with a technical affinity, financial services experience and strong communication skills.
* Ability to work in fast paced environment
* Open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members
