DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE ROLE AND THE TIME SCALE AND REQUIREMENTS ISSUED BY THE CLIENT, CANDIDATES HAVE BEEN ASKED TO HOLD CURRENT DV (DEVELOPED VETTING) LEVEL SECURITY CLEARANCE FOR THIS ROLE.

THE LEAD AUDITOR IS A FULL TIME ROLE, AND APPOINTED BY THE SO QUALITY LEAD TO ENSURE, ON HIS/HER BEHALF, THAT THE QMS CONTINUES TO DEVELOP. REPORTING TO THE SO QUALITY LEAD
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) QUALITY MANAGEMENT - PLANNING, MONITORING & REPORTING
Maintain ISO 9001 [1] and ISO 20000 [2] certification for ATLAS Service Management
Produce and maintain the DII Service Management Plan
Conduct monthly quality review meetings with SO Quality Representatives (QRs)
Present quality status (SOFTE) reports to SO Management
Attend periodic Quality Management Reviews (QMRs)
Maintain regular local management liaison
2) QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (QMS)
Ensure the QMS is compliant with, and implemented & maintained in accordance with, ISO 9001 and ISO 20000 standards
Report any identified deficiencies in the operation of the QMS to the SO Quality Lead
Create and distribute higher level quality documents - organisation charts, roles & responsibilities, objectives, etc.
3) AUDIT – INTERNAL & EXTERNAL
Implement and control a programme of Internal Quality Audits
Liaise with DII Service Assurance (SA) to co-ordinate the IPT Schedule of audits
Ensure there is liaison with external auditors (BSI)
Manage the correction of non-conformances arising from internal and external audits
4) IMPLEMENTATION, AWARENESS & IMPROVEMENT
Provide communications, consultancy, advice and assistance, as required, to DII staff concerning Quality issues
Undertake monitoring, metrics & measurement activities to confirm conformance AND identify & address opportunities for improvement
5) EXTERNAL LIAISON
Represent Service Operations as Business Assurance Representative (BAR)
Liaise with ATLAS Business Assurance, and attend Quality Boards when necessary – eg: Internal Quality Forum (IQF), GECKO and JQMG
Ensure any QMS actions identified by Business Assurance are carried out
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Competent use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project preferable
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
Knowledge of HP Enterprise Service Quality Processes
Knowledge of MOD Quality Processes and Regulations
PERSONAL COMPETENCIES:
A confident self starter with a pro-active and dynamic approach to Quality
A previous background and good experience in managing internal and external audits is essential.
